Arts One at UBC is led by a dynamic team of instructors that teach around a guiding theme.
The current theme and associated texts, works, and teaching team are available for your reference, as are past themes that have been studied previously. These small cohorts cultivate intimate learning communities that enrich the educational and social experiences of a student’s first year. The program’s themes give students and faculty the opportunity to study texts and discuss works around a unified and guiding topic.
