UBC Arts One featured in Higher Education Review
The UBC Arts One program is featured in a new article by UBC Arts One instructor, Brandon Konoval: “Is the Essay Dead? Research and Writing Instruction in the Humanities at a Research-Intensive University” (Higher Education Review, spring/summer 2018, pp. 53-85). The article explores the dynamic components of UBC Arts One that have created a distinctive first-year experience for students from around the world since 1967, as well as new developments that are guiding the program into the coming decades.
